Marius Baciu, the newly appointed coach of FC Steaua București (FCSB), has been compared to Cristi Chivu, the Romanian coach who recently made headlines at Inter Milan. In an exclusive statement to ProSport, Roland Nagy, who once played alongside Baciu at Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his confidence in Baciu's abilities.

Nagy, who was Baciu's teammate during the red and blue team's celebrated double with PSG, has only positive words to say about his former colleague. He believes that Baciu, now at the helm of Steaua under the leadership of Gigi Becali, can lead the club to victory.

“Cristi Chivu showed that he could perform at Inter, even when given few chances. Why shouldn't Baciu succeed as well? Everyone needs a chance to prove themselves,” Nagy stated.

Nagy emphasized that Baciu is dedicated and that leading FCSB is a significant challenge. He expressed his joy for Baciu and hopes that Steaua can once again contend for the title under his guidance and even win the trophy.
