Dragan Marinković Maca, Serbian actor and TV host, appeared at Belgrade's airport today and spoke about last night’s Eurovision. He touched upon his personal life and career.
Maca expressed his dissatisfaction with the Serbian delegation's performance at Eurovision and criticized the distribution of points, especially towards Croatia.
"I don't even know who the expert jury was. Those who didn't give points to Croatia... They are idiots. The jury is critical, these are the biggest misfires. We should give points to Croatia. Ivan Mileusnić is a terrible singer, a dancer. Don't fool around. No matter what, let them be healthy and alive. It's all politics. At the end, what connection does Eurovision have with Azerbaijan, Australia? Or have I gone mad with geography?" Maca said.
"What connection does Australia have with Eurovision?"
Maca also commented on the participation of countries like Australia and Azerbaijan in Eurovision, questioning their relevance to the contest.
"The smartest ones are those who didn't participate," he added, referring to the Serbian jury, which included singer Ivan Mileusnić, vocalist Jelena Tomašević, and songwriter Aleksandra Kovač as the jury president.
Maca's harsh criticism of the Serbian Eurovision delegation is spot on! Can you believe they called the jury idiots and misfires? It's about time someone spoke the truth. What do you think? Should they have participated at all?
