Luis Enrique: Guardiola is the Best in History

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has expressed his admiration for Pep Guardiola, whom he considers to be the greatest coach in the history of the game. This comes after recent reports suggested Guardiola might be leaving Manchester City.

"I don’t believe he’s leaving, I don’t believe it at all," Luis Enrique stated. "I’d like him to stay for many more years."

Guardiola's Influence and Legacy

Luis Enrique shared insights into Guardiola's ambitions and influence. "When I was with the national team, he would always ask me about the job. He always wanted to coach a national team. I don’t think he will take Italy, but you never know," he added.

In an interview with "Movistar Plus," Luis Enrique elaborated on why Guardiola stands out. "I’d like to see Guardiola at the highest level for many years because he’s an example to me. He’s the best coach of all time, not because of the trophies, but because of what he imparts, the way he does it, how he changes the game, how he dares to move central defenders or pull wide defenders into the center."

"One day he’ll put central defenders into attack and everyone will start copying him. Very few people possess such a skill. He’s number one in this," concluded the PSG coach.
