Ivan Miljković, one of Serbia's greatest volleyball players, shared an old photo with Novak Djokovic on social media, praising the tennis star's humility and accessibility during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The photo, nearly 20 years old, depicts the two athletes together.

- Our first meeting was in Beijing during the 2008 Olympics, where we were both part of the Serbian Olympic team. He was already on his way to becoming the greatest in history, but within the Olympic village, he was just one of us. The same trainers, the same bags, the same cafeteria, the same life of an athlete. But what really stood out was his smile, his humility, and his availability to everyone. Always ready for a brief conversation, a photo, or a moment of support. - Ivan shared.

- Then came his first Olympic medal, and the rest is history. Broken records, shifted boundaries, and a legacy built through discipline, resilience, and unwavering belief. He continues to inspire, grow, and push his own and others' boundaries to higher standards. Keep challenging yourself, Novače! Keep challenging the world!

In response, Djokovic posted a heartfelt comment on Miljković's post:

- Our Apollo, Ivan! Childhood idol.
