The event aims to raise funds to support Penov, who has been battling a serious oncological illness since November. His condition has stabilized after treatment in Germany.

"Life often throws us battles for which no one is fully prepared," Penov wrote. "On June 6 at 5:00 PM, the 'Match of Hope' will take place at the Lazur Stadium in Burgas, organized by the Stilian Petrov Foundation. This cause gives strength and hope to people facing oncological diseases."

Penov expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Stilian and everyone involved, stating that the support is not only for him but for all those going through this difficult journey. He called on both active and retired football players to come and show that football has a heart. "Football has always united people on the field and in the stands," he added. "Today, we have the chance to turn it into something more—support and hope."
