Radomir Koković of FK Železničar in Pančevo was named the best coach in the Superliga, receiving the award from fellow coaches and team captains.

Today, he received the award at the prestigious ceremony in Belgrade's "Ložionica," organized by the Superliga of Serbia. In his conversation with the media, Koković expressed his pride in this recognition.

"Thank you for the congratulations, especially to my fellow coaches and team captains of the Superliga. The recognition they give carries a special weight. I tried to be the best I could, to improve my team, to play good and appealing football. I believe we succeeded, and as a reward, we qualified for Europe, and I was named the best coach of the season. Thank you to my players and the coaching staff; they make me a better coach."

He mentioned that it was particularly challenging that his team was the youngest in the competition.

"Quite demanding, the fact is that we are the youngest team in the league, and we needed to mature quickly, in motion, through competition. It was important to me that we didn't oscillate in terms of the quality of the game. I believe we succeeded, and as a reward for our sacrifice and effort, we earned a spot in Europe."

The ambitions of Železničar in Europe remain consistent.

"Our ambitions are the same in all competitions. We will try to be consistent, ourselves, the best version of ourselves, and present ourselves in a modern way through European competitions. We will see if it is enough. In our championship, we will not deviate from our course, we will be one of the youngest teams again, we will be recognizable, trying to assert ourselves in all phases of the game, nurturing our DNA that we built during the previous season."

He reiterated that the award from his peers is a significant matter for him.

"I say, this award that comes from journalists and the Union is super, but when we receive it from coaches and captains, it gives additional motivation to perfect myself and to be better."
