Lokomotiv striker Ibrahim Sabra (20) is one of 30 players on Jordan's wider World Cup roster. Sabra, who plays on loan at Lokomotiv from Turkish club Goztepe, is expected to be part of the team that will debut at the World Cup in the group with Argentina, Austria, and Algeria.

Since joining Lokomotiv in February, Sabra has scored two goals and provided one assist in 13 appearances. He has played four times for the national team, scoring his first goal in a friendly match against Costa Rica in March. He was also part of the starting 11 in a friendly match against Nigeria, indicating that his place among Jordan's 26 World Cup representatives is likely secure.

Sixth SHNL Player Selected for the World Cup

Sabra has become the sixth player from the SuperSport HNL to receive a World Cup call-up. For Croatia, Dominik Livaković (Dinamo) and Toni Fruk (Rijeka) will represent their country, while for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Martin Zlomislić (Rijeka), Osman Hadžikić (Slaven Belupo), and Stjepan Radeljić (Rijeka) will play. It is expected that other SHNL players, including Ismael Bennacer (Algeria, Dinamo), Scott McKenna (Scotland, Dinamo), and Niko Sigur (Canada, Hajduk), may also receive call-ups.
