Italian football legend Christian Vieri has praised Hakan Çalhanoğlu, stating that he is one of the world's top five midfielders. Vieri, in an interview with TRT Spor, gave high praise to the midfielder, who has been a key player for Inter Milan in the recent successful season.

"I have been saying this for years; Çalhanoğlu is one of the world's top five midfielders. He is an extraordinary player, using both feet flawlessly, scoring and creating goals, and he has an incredible vision of the game. Only a few players in the world have the ability to pass 50-60 meters accurately. There are very few players at his level," Vieri emphasized.

Türkiye Will Have a Great World Cup

Vieri also expressed his views on the Turkish national team, saying that it has a strong squad and important players. He commended the technical influence of coach Vincenzo Montella on the team.

"Turkey has a great squad and important players. Montella is young, very intelligent, and a successful coach. He organizes the team well and communicates strongly with the players. I believe Turkey will have a great World Cup," Vieri added.
