Kobi Simons, a key player for the Spanish club Baskonia, has been linked with Partizan in recent days and weeks. According to media reports, Simons and Armoni Brooks were viewed as potential tandem guards for Partizan’s next season.

However, it appears that Simons will not be joining Partizan after all. The Spanish newspaper "Noticias de Alava" reported that the American player has agreed to extend his contract with Baskonia until 2028.

The source states, "Baskonia has finalized the last details of an extension with Kobi Simons, who will remain with the club in Vitoria until 2028. An official confirmation is expected." Simons reportedly accepted a significantly better offer from Baskonia.

Partizan had attempted to bring in Simons, but Baskonia reacted quickly and improved the financial terms to keep one of their key offensive players in the club's blue-and-red uniform for the next two seasons.
