The Iranian Parliament plans to vote on a law offering €50 million to anyone who assassinates US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, or US General Joseph Votel. Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, announced the proposal on Thursday on state television.
The law, titled "Retaliatory Action of the Military and Security Forces of the Islamic Republic," formalizes threats previously made by the regime against world leaders. According to the Jerusalem Post, the proposal aims to formalize these threats.
"We believe that the dirty US President, the evil and shameful Zionist Prime Minister, and the CENTCOM commander must be targeted and retaliatory action must be taken against them," Azizi stated, asserting that such a step is necessary revenge for the assassination of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Azizi: "The US President Must Be Punished"
"This is our right," he confirmed. "Just as our Imam became a martyr, the US President must be punished by every Muslim or free man."
Mahmud Nabavian, an Iranian Shiite cleric and parliamentarian, confirmed Azizi's statement about the upcoming vote. Nabavian said that threats have been made against the new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi, and warned that Iran's response to his potential assassination would be "devastating."
The Iranian group "Blood Alliance" previously raised $40 million to offer a reward for Trump's assassination following a June bombing of three nuclear facilities. The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported that the group acts "under the cover of the Iranian regime."
Trump survived several assassination attempts during his second term. In 2024, the US Department of Justice charged one Iranian in connection with an alleged plot ordered by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin also claimed in March that an Iranian official who planned an assassination attempt on Trump was killed in a US air strike.
"Iran attempted to assassinate President Trump, and President Trump was the last to laugh." said Austin to reporters.

This is utter madness! Iran's threats are just a sign of desperation. Will they ever learn that violence only leads to more violence? Trump may have gotten away with it, but this kind of rhetoric is toxic and dangerous. What do you think, fans?
