Croatian boxer Filip Hrgović secured a technical knockout victory over Dave Allen in the third round of their match in Doncaster, England. Allen was saved from a potentially severe beating when his corner threw in the towel. This win marks Hrgović's 20th career victory, his third in a row, and his 15th by knockout.

After the fight, Hrgović stated, "I know I'm not the favorite of the crowd, but this is boxing. Thank you to Allen, his team, and the promoter for the opportunity. I’m aiming for the heavyweight belt. I started very strong, throwing punches, and he was open. I wanted to end it quickly to show how good I am and send a message."

When asked if he would fight Moses Itaumo, Hrgović replied, "I will fight anyone. I need to sit with my manager and see how we move forward. I need a medical check to see if there are any injuries. I never run from anyone. If I’m healthy, I have no problem fighting Itaumo. I’ll rest for a few days, and then we’ll see. Moses hasn’t reached my level yet."

Third Consecutive Win

Hrgović’s last fight was against David Adeleye in August of last year, which he won via referee decision. Prior to that, he defeated Joe Joyce in April of last year, also via referee decision.
