Croatian boxer Filip Hrgović (33) secured his third consecutive victory with a technical knockout against Dave Allen (34) in the third round of their bout in Doncaster, England. Hrgović's dominant performance led to his 20th career win, his third in a row, and his 15th knockout.
Hrgović took control from the very first moment, pinning Allen against the ropes and bombarding him with punches to secure the first round. This dominance continued into the second round, with Hrgović combining head and body strikes, while Allen's attempts were short and ineffective.
Dominance and the End
In the third round, Allen barely survived the onslaught, visibly dazed by Hrgović's powerful strikes. Hrgović’s right hand kept breaking through Allen’s guard, forcing Allen to hold the ropes in an attempt to catch his breath. After a series of punches, Allen's corner threw in the towel, marking the end of the fight.
Hrgović's last two victories were against David Adeleye and Joe Joyce, both by referee's decision. He now looks to continue his push for the world title, with his next opponent expected to be the English boxer Moses Itauma.
This was another dominant showing from Hrgović! Can he keep this momentum up and finally land that world title? I can't wait to see what's next for the Croatian bokser!
