Holland and Hauge Lead Norway's 2026 World Cup Squad

The Norwegian national football team has announced the final list of players who will represent the country at the 2026 World Cup. The squad includes Erling Haaland from Manchester City and Martin Odegaard from Arsenal, both expected to play pivotal roles for the team.

The absence of goalkeeper Nikita Sheikin, who plays for Bodø/Glimt, is notable. Despite his strong performances, Sheikin did not find a place among the selectors' choices under head coach Stale Solbakken.

Norway's full squad for the 2026 World Cup includes:

Goalkeepers

Joel Neland, Egil Skjelvik, and Sander Tangvik.

Defenders

Christopher Ajer, Fredrik Andre Bjerkan, Sondre Hauge, Torbjorn Heggem, Leo Jostigard, Julian Ryerson, David Myhre Wolfe, and Henrik Fahlheden.

Midfielders

Currently, Norway is ranked 31st in the FIFA World Rankings. At the 2026 World Cup, Norway will be facing teams from France, Senegal, and Iraq in Group I.
