Hajduk has taken the first concrete step toward building its first football training camp in its club history, the club announced on its social media profiles. The club has engaged the Split-based company Fractal d.o.o. for advice and coordination on the project. The necessary documentation is being gathered to allow immediate commencement of concrete activities once all spatial planning prerequisites are met.

Delays in the Procedure

The primary prerequisite for starting the project is the amendments and adjustments to the land in accordance with the Spatial Planning Act. According to Minister Branko Bačić's statements, the state was supposed to complete its part by summer so that the city of Split could initiate the urban project by the end of the year. However, the latest information suggests that the process will take longer. The club is appealing to the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction, and State Property to prioritize this project and ensure all necessary measures are taken to start the implementation as soon as possible.

Final Stage of Poljud Stadium Analysis

The foundation of Hajduk's infrastructural future also includes a new stadium, with the status of the Poljud Stadium to be determined soon. The club's announcement states, "The analysis and project created by Stabilnost d.o.o. under the guidance of Emeritus Professor Ante Mihanović are currently in the review phase. Given the exceptionally complex nature of the topic, time is needed to thoroughly review all documentation, so we ask for the public's understanding."
