Hajduk Split's key player, Rokas Pukštas, was involved in a minor traffic accident in Split on Thursday morning. The incident occurred on Ulica osmih mediteranskih igara, just a few hundred meters from the Poljud stadium. The 21-year-old footballer collided with a taxi, but fortunately, there were no injuries. Pukštas is expected to compete for a spot in the lineup for the upcoming match against Vukovar '91 on Saturday at 18:15 local time, part of the 36th round of the HNL league.

Another Incident on the Way to the Stadium

This is not the first time Pukštas has faced an incident on his way to training. Last year, he had an unfortunate bicycle accident where he fell off after hitting a pothole with the front wheel. The bike became unusable, but Pukštas was not deterred. He left the damaged bike by the roadside and decided to run to the Poljud stadium instead. With his training bag on his back, he covered approximately six kilometers of running for his warm-up, arriving on time for the session.
