Partizan and Red Star kicked off the first semi-final match of the ABA League in front of a packed house of 14,000 fans at the Belgrade Arena. Partizan enjoyed home-court advantage, with only Grobari, the passionate Red Star supporters, in attendance. They harshly provoked Nikola Kalinić, who has been a particular target for their abuse.

Kalinić has recently been in the spotlight for his emotional outbursts, including a fight with an opponent during a previous game against KLS Zlatibor, which escalated into a confrontation with fans after the match.

The Grobari aimed to further unsettle one of Red Star's key players by amplifying his heightened emotional responses in recent times, heckling him loudly in the arena.

Kalinić remained calm and did not react, but it remains to be seen how he will respond during the rest of the match.

After the first half, Partizan leads by six points. The semi-final series will be decided by the best of two games, with the next match to be hosted by Red Star on Thursday.
