The 11th Gladiator Night event was held in Karlovac over the weekend, organized by former Cro Cop sparing partner Igor Mihaljević. The event featured 12 fights under boxing, kickboxing, and MMA rules. In the main event, Marij Jagatić secured a technical knockout victory over Branko Tadić in the super heavyweight category within the second round.
Jan Novković, a promising young talent, made his professional MMA debut and won by technical knockout in the first round against Edhem Hrustić. Novković has built a foundation of several amateur victories and participated in some FNC tournaments, notably excelling in Baraber Fight Night events.
Among the local fighters, Đorđe Bunčić also claimed victory. He defeated Pava Cvetk in MMA by submission in the first round, returning to the winning path after a loss at the previous Gladiator Night in December.
Youth Shines in Junior Events
The event also featured three junior kickboxing matches in the lowkick category. Tony Knežević Klarić from Duga Resa won against Vita Radaković by unanimous decision. Matej Maglić from Karlovac also won by unanimous decision against Filip Ban.
Đon Kajtazi from Duga Resa delivered one of the best fights of the evening, defeating Ante Čuklin by unanimous decision and achieving his second victory in this series of Gladiator Night events.
