Cătălin Anghel has been working with Hagi for a long time, including at the Hagi Academy, Viitorul, and Farul. He also served as the main coach at Viitorul for a period. Ionel Gane previously served as an assistant under the late Mircea Lucescu. Cristi Sava will be responsible for video analysis in Hagi's team.
Hagi has chosen Ştefan Preda as the goalkeeping coach, who previously held the same position at Steaua, Viitorul Constanţa, and Farul Constanţa.

The national team will play two preparation matches under Hagi's guidance: against Georgia on June 2 at 20:00 (Miheil Meshi Stadium in Tbilisi) and against Wales on June 6 at 20:45 (Steaua Stadium in Bucharest).
Hagi’s team looks solid, but will the new staff make a difference? I can’t wait to see how they perform in the upcoming friendlies!
