German boxer Viktor Jurk (26) achieved one of the fastest knockouts in boxing history, defeating Edwin Castillo with a single punch just seconds into their match in Mannheim on Friday evening. The undefeated fighter entered the match with high expectations in his home country, and just moments after the bell rang, he demonstrated his abilities.

Jurk approached the center of the ring confidently and delivered a powerful left hook to Castillo’s jaw, causing him to immediately fall to the canvas. Castillo turned onto his back and lay motionless with his arms spread out as the referee counted. Questions arose after the fight about whether Castillo had intentionally lowered his arms before the round started, as he appeared to be reaching for his opponent's sleeve.

Jurk capitalized on the opportunity provided by his left-handed stance and delivered the knockout blow shortly after. The referee promptly stopped the fight, and Jurk improved his record to 14 wins and 0 losses, with 12 of those wins coming via knockout.
