Hajduk will face Lokomotiva at Maksimir starting at 6:15 PM. Hajduk has long secured the second position in the championship, while Lokomotiva, after the last round, has fallen out of contention for European spots and will likely finish between fifth and eighth place.

The Split-based team is entering this match in a concerning form. They have only one win in their last five matches and were defeated in the Eternal Derby against Dinamo at the same stadium in the previous round. This was their third loss in four matches against Dinamo this season.

Changes from the Derby

Hajduk's coach Gonzalo Garcia has opted for a more conventional lineup for this game, with less experimentation compared to the match against Dinamo. Toni Silić will once again play in goal, with Dario Melnjak and Luka Hodak in the defensive positions, replacing Rok Brajković. The defensive midfield pair will remain the same as last week - Ron Raci and Dario Marešić.

Hugo Guillamon will return to the starting lineup. The Spanish midfielder hasn’t started in the last seven matches and didn’t play a single minute in the last three. His midfield partners will be Rokas Pukštas and Adrion Pajaziti.

There is also a change on the left wing. Bamba unexpectedly started the last derby, but Ante Rebić will now return to the starting lineup. On the right wing will be Iker Almena, and in the attack, Marko Livaja will lead the trio.

Hajduk's Perfect Balance

Hajduk has won all three of their encounters with Lokomotiva this season. They triumphed twice at Poljud with scores of 2:0 and 2:1, and at Maksimir, they came back to win 3:1. The last time Hajduk lost to Lokomotiva was in February of last year when Lokomotiva celebrated a 3:2 victory at Kranjčevićeva thanks to two goals from Robert Mudražija.

I can't believe Hajduk is struggling this much! After dominating Lokomotiva all season, they're now in a slump. What's going on with this team? This form is unacceptable for a club with such a rich history!
