Galatasaray celebrated its 26th and 4th consecutive title with a spectacular ceremony at Rams Park on May 15. The club and its passionate fans joined in a grand parade through the streets of Istanbul.
The players departed from Galatasaray High School in an open-top bus at 4:30 PM, heading towards Rams Park. Thousands of fans greeted the team along the route from Tarlabaşı Boulevard to 4. Levent. Due to the massive crowd, the team took around 2.5 hours to reach Rams Park.
Once there, fans enjoyed performances by DJs Suat Ateşdağlı, Yalçın Asan, and Doğuş Çabakçor, followed by an orchestra. A drone show featured the silhouettes of key players like Uğurcan, Sane, Torreira, and Mauro Icardi.
The highlight of the evening was when Mauro Icardi, the team captain, took the stage. His entrance to the song “Aşkın Olayım” (I Will Be the Love) sparked a wave of excitement among fans, with the entire stadium singing along.
TFF officials were notably absent at the ceremony, with club President Dursun Özbek presenting the championship medals directly to the players.
During the parade, players waved to fans, and a banner reading "This cup is not enough, now our goal is Europe" was displayed on the bus. A poignant moment was when Lucas Torreira and Yunus Akgün displayed a banner reading "Don't go Mauro - Gitme Mauro" to urge Icardi to stay with the club.
Technique Director Okan Buruk, accompanied by his son Ali Yiğit Buruk, highlighted the team's future ambitions: "From the place where we won 4 titles, we are going to the place where we will win 4 more titles. Hopefully, our goal is 5..."
Galatasaray fans, let's show the world that we're not just content with domestic dominance. Europe, here we come! Can we rally together to support our heroes and bring home the big trophy?
