Finnish Captain Karrigan Talks Before CS Asia Championship
The Falcons team has arrived in Shanghai for the CS Asia Championship, feeling confident after their performance in the PGL Astana 2026 final. New captain Finn "karrigan" Andersen rated the team's current form as "8 or 9 out of 10" according to HLTV. Although the loss to Spirit in the finals was painful, Karrigan considers the tournament a significant step forward, especially given the short preparation time and major changes in the team's system.
According to Karrigan, Falcons now look like a completely different team. He was particularly impressed by the dramatic victory against FURIA in the playoffs, which he rated "10 out of 10." The Falcons managed to survive a series with numerous match point situations, demonstrating serious mental fortitude in key moments. Despite being among the favorites for the CS Asia Championships 2026 title, Karrigan emphasized that the primary goal remains preparation for the Major in Cologne, rather than necessarily winning every tournament leading up to it.
