Fenerbahçe Women's Team Clinches 8-0 Victory
Fenerbahçe, Already Champions, Secure an 8-0 Win Over Ünye Women's Sports Club
In the 29th week of the Turkcell Women's Super League, Fenerbahçe, who clinched the championship last week, faced Ünye Women's Sports Club at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex. Fenerbahçe started the match with Munteanu, Zoe Van Eynde, İpek Kaya, Plummer, Ümran Özev, Regina Otu, Peritan Bozdağ, Busem Şeker, Sabastine, Maria Alves, and Staskova. Busem Şeker opened the scoring for Fenerbahçe in the 28th minute, followed by Maria Alves doubling the lead in the 32nd minute. İpek Kaya made it 3-0 after a corner kick in the 56th minute, and Staskova extended the lead to 4-0 in the 70th minute. With Ünye down to ten players, Yağmur Uraz missed a penalty in the 77th minute. Fenerbahçe continued to dominate, with Yağmur scoring in the 81st, Staskova in the 88th, Cansu in the 90th, and Busem in the 93rd minute.
The second half saw Yağmur Uraz, Zeynep Kerimoğlu, Yaşam Göksu, and Ece Türkoğlu come on as substitutes. Fenerbahçe finished the match with an 8-0 win, increasing their total points to 80. Ünye ended the season with 40 points. Under the leadership of Technical Director Gökhan Bozkaya, Fenerbahçe secured 26 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss in 29 matches this season. They scored 131 goals and conceded only 8, qualifying for the UEFA Women's Champions League next season. Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran watched the match from the protocol tribune.
