As Fenerbahçe prepares for the Euroleague Final Four, the Turkish giant is already working full steam ahead on assembling its team for the next season. Tejlen Horton-Tucker and Tarik Biberović will remain with the team for the upcoming season.
The news was revealed by Jem Giritçi, a member of the club's board and the first person in the basketball sector. Giritçi highlighted that American guard Tejlen Horton-Tucker is more than satisfied with his life and role in the team.
"Tejlen Horton-Tucker loved his experience with our club and will be staying with us next season. For now, there's nothing concrete from the NBA. There may have been some interest in Tarik, but he is our player and will continue to play for Fenerbahçe," Giritçi stated.
Fenerbahçe has already enjoyed another stellar season in the Euroleague, and now the Turkish giant faces a new challenge in the Final Four. The team, led by coach Šarūnas Jasikevičius, will face Olympiacos in the semifinals, with the ambition of a new European crown.
The club is not hiding its satisfaction with the continuity of its results, as Fenerbahçe has reached the final four in Europe in eight of the last 11 years.
"Transfers are planned well in advance. There have been certain contacts and discussions, but many things will become clearer after the Final Four," added Giritçi.
