Fenerbahçe is accelerating its efforts to sign Senegalese forward Serhou Guirassy from Borussia Dortmund. The club has allocated approximately 40 million euros for the transfer and has made significant progress in negotiations with both the player and the German club. Guirassy, who is 30 years old, has been a target for AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur as well.

This season, Guirassy played 46 matches for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 22 goals and providing six assists. Fenerbahçe's interest in Guirassy is not new, as the club tried to bring him to Istanbul last summer. However, Guirassy opted to join Dortmund on a 18 million euro bonus deal instead.

The Fenerbahçe management has shared transfer reports with the presidential candidates as they prepare to transition leadership on June 7. Despite the competition, Fenerbahçe aims to finalize the deal with Guirassy in the near future.

Fenerbahçe's pursuit of a top striker to bolster its attack this season has intensified, and the club continues to maintain contact with the Senegalese forward.

Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in Guirassy

While Fenerbahçe has set aside a budget of around 40 million euros for Guirassy, there is serious competition from AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur.

In last summer's transfer window, Fenerbahçe had also tried to sign Guirassy, but he opted to join Dortmund. The club then turned its attention to Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, paying 19.5 million euros for his services.

Guirassy had a notable season with Borussia Dortmund, playing 46 official matches and scoring 22 goals with six assists. His performances have attracted the interest of several top clubs, and Fenerbahçe is determined to finalize the transfer in the coming weeks.
