FCSB is navigating a challenging season, fighting for a chance to qualify for European cups. Before the Conference League playoff match against FC Botoșani, Sport.ro reminds supporters of one of the most spectacular foreigners to have passed through Liga 1: Jugurtha Hamroun.
A year ago, the Algerian gave an interview to our site, discussing his time at FCSB and the former teammates with whom he still maintains contact.
Who Among His Old FCSB Teammates Does Jugurtha Hamroun Still Keep in Touch With?
"I still keep in touch with Gregory Tade and Houssine Kharja. I sometimes meet Tamaș at matches or events. I recently played with him in an old-boys match," explains Hamroun.
The former player recounted that he adapted quickly to the red and blue locker room, where the relationship with his teammates was excellent.
"I felt very well! I had a great group, talented boys. Some spoke French, like Tade, Kharja, and even Tamaș knew a little. I didn’t feel like an outsider. The beautiful city, excellent conditions. I had everything I needed to play well," the Algerian added.
