Trabzonspor Technical Director Fatih Tekke Speaks Before the Ziraat Türkiye Kupası Final

Trabzonspor's technical director, Fatih Tekke, addressed the media ahead of the Ziraat Türkiye Kupası final match against Konyaspor.

Tekke highlighted the team's desire to win the trophy. "We must congratulate Konyaspor as well; they've eliminated strong teams to get here. I want to be clear, there's a level of desire and excitement in the team that I haven't seen in 14 months. We really want this cup, and my players deserve it," he said.

Tekke also wished for a match where the players focus solely on the game and not on the referees. "My players, myself, the team, and all our supporters want this cup very much. We will be at our strongest as a team on the field tomorrow. I hope we can have a match where everyone focuses on football, has fun, and the referees don't get in the way. We want to present this cup to our fans as a gift. I hope it goes as we wish."

When asked about the final being played in Antalya, Tekke responded, "It's not crucial that the final is in Antalya. What's important is that the field is good and the referee's management is effective."

He concluded, "If there's a cup in the middle and you can't win it, you can't be considered successful."
