Fabregas on Nico Pas: Two Options, but Inter Isn't One

Following two seasons of exceptional performance with Como, Nico Pas has firmly established himself as one of the most coveted talents in global football. However, his future remains uncertain as Real Madrid holds a buy-back clause. In recent weeks, there have been discussions about a strong interest from Inter Milan. In the past days, Javier Zanetti, the vice president of Inter, expressed his hope to see Nico Pas in an Inter jersey one day.

Fabregas Comments on Nico Pas's Future

Como coach Cesc Fabregas also weighed in on the situation surrounding the Argentine talent: "Nico Pas is a player of Como. Zanetti is a significant figure in football and understands the entire dynamics. I know that Nico Pas is 50% owned by Como, but he is our player. The only club that can say something is Real Madrid. Zanetti doesn't work for either Real Madrid or Como, so there needs to be respect for both clubs. There have been some light messages that I don't like."

"There is one thing I know for certain: Nico Pas will not play for Inter. He will either return to Real Madrid or stay with Como next season. We are happy with him, and we'll see what happens in a few weeks," Fabregas added.

Match Day Decisions

"Will Nico Pas play against Cremonese? We want players in the best form to play, and he is not at 100% right now. He has been training individually, although he feels better compared to the previous days. At this moment, I can neither confirm nor deny his participation, we'll see on match day. Today, the player is being watched by many people from the staff, there used to be fewer physiotherapists," said Fabregas on the eve of Como's last match of the season against Bologna, scheduled for Saturday at 19:00.
