The first day of volunteer registration for the EXPO 2027 event witnessed an extraordinary public response. The company EXPO 2027 d.o.o. reported that 2,403 candidates registered immediately after the platform opened on May 15, exactly one year before the event. This strong start signals that both Serbian citizens and numerous international participants are eager to be part of the organization of what will be the largest event ever held in this part of Europe.

Danilo Jerinić, the company's director, noted that many see this project as a unique opportunity to become part of an event that will bring together more than 130 countries, allowing volunteers to represent Serbia on a global stage.

The geographical distribution of applicants covered the entire globe, with registrations coming from Australia, Japan, China, France, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Pakistan, Nigeria, Gambia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Azerbaijan. Regionally, the highest number of applications came from Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia.

Annual candidates from Serbia and around the world have the choice of 48 different positions within the Specialized Exhibition's organization.
