EuroLeague issued a public apology to Fenerbahçe fans after a ticketing crisis at a game in Atina, Greece. During a press conference held in Atina, Bodiroga addressed the ticketing issues and stated, "I apologize on behalf of Fenerbahçe and all Fenerbahçe fans for what happened. We solved the issue by the end of the day, and everyone managed to enter, but it certainly wasn't as we wished. I apologize to Fenerbahçe and the fans."

In response to questions about many Fenerbahçe fans with tickets being denied entry to the arena and the club's criticism of the EuroLeague, the EuroLeague CEO Bueno said, "We apologize to the Fenerbahçe Beko fans for what happened."

TURKISH FANS DENIED ENTRY DESPITE HAVING TICKETS

The denial of entry to ticket-holding Turkish fans, obstacles faced by player families, and serious security vulnerabilities in the arena caused significant stress for the Turkish side. Many Fenerbahçe fans with valid tickets were unable to enter the Telekom Center due to chaos and errors at the entrance, partly due to the inability of Greek security forces and EuroLeague officials to properly use the ticket control system.

Greek authorities, who did not allow Fenerbahçe fans into the arena, permitted Olympiakos fans to enter without ticket verification. Some Fenerbahçe fans were separated from their groups and placed with Greek fans, which highlighted security weaknesses. Tensions were defused without escalation thanks to police intervention.
