Croatian fighter Ivan Erslan (34) secured his first win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in Las Vegas. Erslan triumphed over George Tuca Tokkos with a unanimous decision from the judges (29-28 x3). In the first round, Erslan almost suffered defeat after initially dominating the match. However, he took full control in the remaining two rounds, bringing the fight to a convincing conclusion on the mat.

After the victory, Erslan stated, "This was a special fight for me. My wife is pregnant, and we are expecting our third child. Marija, I love you. I wanted to continue the standing battle, but I needed a new contract, and he wanted to grapple. I adapted and knew I would be better. This is my first win in the last fight under contract, and this could become a fairytale. The only person who could ruin this is Mick Maynard (matchmaker). Don't be a bad matchmaker and don't ruin this for me, ha, ha."

This is Erslan's first victory in the UFC after four fights. His contract has expired, and it remains to be seen if the UFC will offer him a new one. If he does not sign a new contract with the UFC, he will likely return to the strongest regional organization, the FNC.
