Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis once again demonstrated his unparalleled talent, securing first place in a competition in Keqiao, China. This time, he cleared a height of 6.12 meters on his first attempt, leaving no doubt about his superiority. No other competitors posed a serious threat to his lead.

Duplantis, a double Olympic champion, world and European champion, and world record holder, attempted to break a new world record of 6.32 meters in three consecutive tries. However, he failed to clear this height, settling for a new personal best of 6.12 meters. The competition took place as part of the Diamond League series.

The second place went to Dutch athlete Kurtis Marschall, who cleared 5.80 meters. Third place was a tie between another Dutch athlete, Menno Olijslagers, and American Sem Kendricks, both clearing 5.70 meters.
