Spanish climber Enric Mas raced for several days at the Giro d'Italia in a Movistar women’s jersey before anyone noticed the wardrobe mishap. Mas, competing in his first-ever Giro d'Italia, did not realize he was wearing the women’s jersey until days later.

The mistake was only discovered when sharp-eyed fans on social media spotted the "UCI Women’s World Team" logo on his chest. Mas, who has since changed back into the men’s kit, described the incident as a small mistake and nothing special.

"I didn’t notice, I just wore the clothes," Mas told AS. "Everything was my size, and the bib shorts too, the only difference was the logo."

Mas, still recovering from a series of injuries and health setbacks, hopes to hit top form and chase a stage win in the final week of the Giro d'Italia.
