Brazilian star Endrick has officially concluded his loan spell with Lyon in the French Ligue 1 with an emotional farewell message to the club's fans. During his time in Lyon this spring, he was on loan from Real Madrid and netted 16 goals in 21 matches. After rediscovering his best form in France, the 19-year-old player is returning to "Bernabéu" with high hopes for a strong upcoming season.

Endrick posted a touching video on social media, reflecting on his growth in France after a difficult period in Spain. “In Brazil, when someone goes through a tough period, they often say, ‘You must kill a lion every day.’ For several months, I went through a situation that no athlete should face, but I decided not to kill any lions. I decided to become one,” the Brazilian player said, as cited by BTA.

“And it was here that I found what I needed to regain my strength. To follow my instincts. To attack like a lion. To defend my family who supported me and those who welcomed me so warmly,” the attacker added, referring to the Lyon team.
