Eight clubs have already submitted their applications for the upcoming efbet Super Volley season, with the final deadline approaching on Wednesday. The question remains whether all 12 eligible teams will confirm their participation.

“At this stage, we have no indications that any club will withdraw, so we expect to begin the licensing process with all 12 teams. The licensing process starts from May 26 and will continue until June 17. After that, the Licensing Committee of the National Volleyball League (NVL) will review the submitted documents.

The main requirements are related to the absence of debts to state and municipal institutions, as well as to players and members of the sports and technical staff, or the existence of organized relationships. If issues are identified, additional time will be provided to resolve them, and if no resolution is reached, the Committee will take a final stance.

With the introduction of the licensing regime, we made it clear that volleyball clubs in Bulgaria must set an example not only with their sporting results but also with their integrity,” commented NVL Operations Director Hristo Apostolov.
