Efie Papatheodori recently appeared on the Greek morning show "Buongiorno," where she shared details about a minor eye accident and her upcoming artistic collaboration with Antonis Syrianos.
The well-loved actress explained that her health issue was not serious, though it was causing her some discomfort. She emphasized that she still had a strong drive to create and continue working.
«I hit my eye»
When asked about her health, Papatheodori responded calmly without dramatizing her condition.
"I hit my eye and the lens has slightly shifted. I see a bit blurry... Let's hope I can see the doctor soon. It will pass, it's not serious," she noted.
Despite the annoyance, she expressed her desire to continue working on projects that bring her joy.
New collaboration with Antonis Syrianos
Papatheodori also discussed her new collaboration with Antonis Syrianos, explaining that he had given her the opportunity to participate in a project involving songs.
She initially had doubts since she is an actress and not a singer. However, she decided to take the risk. "Most of them are observational. I said that I am an actress, I interpret, and I want to do this," she shared.
Papatheodori spoke warmly about Syrianos, calling him a "great tenor" who is well-known internationally but underappreciated in Greece.
She highlighted the significance of this project, noting that in challenging times, such artistic proposals can bring joy to the world and remind older people of old songs, while younger ones can discover them anew.
Efie Papatheodori's resilience in the face of minor health issues is inspiring, but her collaboration with Antonis Syrianos sounds like a game-changer. How do you think this partnership will impact her career and the music scene?
