More than two months separate us from the big spectacle at Belgrade Arena! UFC is finally coming to Serbia on August 1, and the audience will have the opportunity to watch some of the elite fighters in action. Among those participating is one of the best Serbian fighters, Duško Todorović, who will be competing against Robert Valentin from Switzerland.

Todorović recently spoke to Telegraf about the upcoming event, touching on various topics, including the comments made by Šara Magomedov and his preparations for the fight.

- We've been talking about this for a long time and it's finally happening. I'm glad that the fire has been lit, and UFC has confirmed its arrival, which is great news. It's a huge deal that this event is happening here, as UFC typically only visits London and Paris in Europe, outside of America. This is a significant milestone, Todorović began.

- Šara Magomedov had an interesting comment about UFC’s announcement...

- Šara seems to be trying to gather likes and attention, but he already has a scheduled fight against my former rival. They are likely to meet in June or July.

- I was supposed to fight Dontae Johnson on March 7, but I suffered a knee injury during training. I've been gradually reintroducing the fight preparation into my training regimen, so we're slowly getting into shape for August 1.

- I honestly don't expect anything less than a full arena. I believe the atmosphere will be fantastic. This isn't my first time fighting in front of our audience, even though it's my first time in Belgrade Arena. This is a dream come true for any fighter. As a child starting to train, you always imagine fighting on a big stage, and now I have the chance to do it in front of my home crowd.

- It wouldn't surprise me if Belgrade became a regular UFC venue. UFC has recognized that people here genuinely love MMA, and the Serbian MMA Federation has organized numerous world and European events. We are now on par with London and Paris, the only other European cities where UFC visits. I believe UFC will come here annually, just as they do in those cities. This is a significant opportunity for all fighters from our region to showcase their worth.

- I don't doubt that Miljan Zdravković will eventually sign with UFC, and there are also talks about Jovan Leka. It's exciting to see names emerging, showing that fighters from our region can make it to UFC.
