Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek, who announced his candidacy for re-election, held a presentation on the club's 100-year project on Galatasaray Island. During the event, Özbek highlighted the progress made on several key initiatives.

‘RIVA AND FLORYA PROGRESS’

"When we took office, the Riva project was ongoing. We revised the agreement with Emlak Konut for the second phase in November 2024. Housing sales and marketing are underway, and an additional 30-donum commercial area adjacent to Riva has been added to the club. The Mecidiyeköy building, which we transformed into a dormitory, played a significant role in acquiring non-owned land in Florya. We plan to deliver the apartments in June. This project is nearing completion."

"Florya is a crucial step towards the club's financial independence. We have advanced with all sensitivities. An exchange agreement was signed, and a $50 million advance payment to the club helped close the remaining part of the Bankers' Union loan and pay off some overdue commercial debts. Construction has begun, and a permit application will be submitted, leading to the start of construction. The financial support from this project will be used in line with the authority you have granted us."

‘KEMERBURGAZ: MORE THAN A FACILITY’

"Kemerburgaz is a source of pride and a world-class facility. It was necessary for achieving victories in Europe. I am proud to have completed this facility during my presidency. Kemerburgaz is not just a facility but the new heart of Galatasaray football. It was completed using the club's resources, with a budget of approximately 70 million Euros. If I had chosen not to undertake this work, Galatasaray would have no debt and more funds in its coffers, but we would have lost the vision entrusted to us by our founders."

"We are working on the second phase of Kemerburgaz."
