Dunav has secured its return to the top tier of Bulgarian football! In a thrilling match at the "Spartak" stadium in Varna, "The Dragons" drew 2-2 with Fratria, ensuring their spot at the top of the Second League. The match was part of the 32nd round of the Second League.

Christyan Boychev put Dunav ahead with a beautiful goal in the 25th minute, but Ivan Brinkner equalized for Fratria in the 79th minute with an equally impressive shot. In the second minute of added time, Mario Dilchovski scored an own goal for Dunav, putting Fratria ahead. However, in the 96th minute, Ibrahima Keita scored the equalizer for Dunav, securing their promotion to the efbet League.

This is Dunav's first appearance in the efbet League since the 2019/20 season. The team, led by coach Georgi Chilikov, will face Yantra, currently second in the standings, in their next match. Fratria, meanwhile, will travel to face Belasitsa in their next fixture, hoping for a better outcome.

The match started with Fratria pressing, but they couldn't break through Dunav's defense in the early minutes. In the 49th minute, Georgi Kitnov saved a long-range shot. Four minutes later, Ivaldo Rufa missed a golden opportunity to double Dunav's lead when he failed to score from close range.

In the second minute of added time, Fratria took the lead thanks to an own goal by Mario Dilchovski. However, Ibrahima Keita's goal in the 96th minute secured Dunav's promotion to the efbet League.
