Marius Baciu, a current sports analyst on television, has been appointed by Gigi Becali to lead the FCSB coaching staff for the remainder of the season. In an immediate reaction for ProSport, Dumitru Dragomir, a former FCSB player, expresses skepticism about Baciu's appointment. However, he believes Baciu's success will depend on his ability to follow Becali's advice.

Baciu, known for his work with PrimaSport, was chosen by Becali to lead FCSB in the Superliga, where the team aims to advance beyond FC Botoșani and Dinamo to qualify for the Conference League. If Baciu achieves this goal, his contract will be automatically extended for another season.

Mitică Dragomir, another former player, is cautious about Baciu’s new role, advising him to be “clever” and to heed Becali’s guidance. "Marius Baciu is a smart guy. He has his wits about him. I know him well and he's a shrewd character. I don't know if Gigi Becali made a good deal with him or not. We'll see," Dragomir told ProSport.

"No one bends to Gigi Becali's will, but if Baciu is clever, he'll do well under Becali and make a good living," Dragomir added.
