Dobrudzha and Botev Vratsa faced off in a crucial match from the penultimate round of the relegation group in the efbet League, resulting in a 1-2 victory for Botev. Both of Botev's goals were scored by Daniel Genov, while Georgi Trifonov provided the lone goal for Dobrudzha.

The match is particularly important for the home team, as they can afford no more mistakes if they wish to stay in the top tier of Bulgarian football. Dobrudzha, coached by Yassen Petrov, are second to last with 30 points, four points away from safety and two points from the playoff spot, currently held by September.

Botev Vratsa, on the other hand, is finishing the season comfortably as the group leader with 47 points. They have a three-point lead over Lokomotiv Sofia and can secure first place with a win today.

The result was opened by the guests as early as the third minute. Saini Sanyang advanced from the left and found Genov in the penalty area, who evaded two defenders and with a technical movement lobbed the ball over goalkeeper Galin Grigorov.

Shortly after, the guests had another chance to score their second goal. Genov and Michi Ntelo both took shots from good positions, but Di Mateo Lovrik saved the "yellow" team from a certain second goal.

In the 29th minute, Botev scored their second goal. Genov advanced to the penalty area and with a technical left-footed shot doubled the lead for the guests.

A few minutes later, the home team had a chance to fight back, but Bubakar Hane took a poor shot from a clear position, and Marin Orlinov managed to block it.

In the early minutes of the second half, Dobrudzha reduced the score. Anton Ivanov delivered a great cross to Trifonov, who headed the ball into Botev's goal.
