Dinko Dinev Advances to Second Round in Kayseri

Bulgarian tennis player Dinko Dinev has secured his place in the second round of the singles competition at the Kayseri tournament in Turkey. The tournament offers a prize fund of $15,000 and is played on hard courts.

The 22-year-old Dinev, ranked sixth in the tournament, faced little difficulty against home favorite Emirhan Bulut, defeating him 6-1, 6-0 in just over an hour.

Later today, Viktor Markov will also compete in the singles round, facing seventh-ranked Dimitris Azoidis of Greece.

In the doubles competition, Dinev and E Hanyu (China), ranked fourth, will face off against Barney Fitzpatrick (United Kingdom) and George Gregoriou (Greece).

Also in doubles, Viktor Markov and Vardan Manukyan (Russia), ranked third, will play against home favorites Emirhan Bulut and Bora Sengul. Meanwhile, Yoan Naidenov and Marcus Kobayashi (Japan) will face Daniel Blazka (Czech Republic) and Carl Holdar (United Kingdom).
