Dinamo is on the cusp of a perfect season, with just one more victory needed to secure a double title. The club has already made significant progress, changing coaches and half the team under the leadership of President Zvonimir Boban, advancing to the knockout stage of the Europa League, and convincingly winning the league title. A win in the final of the Cup in Osijek on Wednesday would clinch the double title. After this, the club's management will need to pay out bonuses to the players, as per the agreements stipulated in their contracts.

If Dinamo manages to win the Croatian First League title, the players will share €800,000. Adding the Cup to this feat would push the total bonus to €1 million. According to Sportske novosti, a successful qualification for the UEFA Champions League could provide additional motivation. If they manage to win the prestigious European club competition, an additional €1 million would be added to their bonuses. In the event of a Europa League qualification, a smaller but significant bonus is expected, while reaching the group stage of the UEFA Conference League would not earn any additional bonuses. Dinamo needs to eliminate one opponent from three attempts to start from the second qualifying round of the Champions League.
