Serbian singer Dijana Janković Rokvić, known professionally as Didi J, recently shared a video detailing her ongoing health struggles. In the video, she reveals she has been diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a condition that has left her bedridden for months.
“I’ve been treated, but I still can’t travel by plane. The recovery is taking time,” Didi J explains in her video. “I’m hoping for a quick recovery.”
"Virus affected my heart"
Didi J detailed how her health issues began with dizziness and shortness of breath. For weeks, she did not know what was happening, and doctors initially suspected a common cold. However, it was later discovered that the virus had affected her heart, leading to subacute pericarditis and causing several viruses to attack her autonomic nervous system simultaneously, resulting in POTS.
Didi J, who is the sister of former tennis star Jelena Janković, hopes to return to her music career soon. “I want my fans to understand why I haven’t been around. I hope to recover and return to the career I love most,” she stated.
Didi J, your fight with POTS is truly inspiring! But come on, get back to the stage soon, we've missed your music too much. Is recovery really that slow, or are you just taking your time? 🎤💪
