The details of the meeting between Galatasaray's chairman Dursun Özbek and Mauro Icardi's manager Elio Pino have emerged, revealing ongoing negotiations but no agreement yet. Mauro Icardi's contract with Galatasaray is set to expire next month.

Özbek had invited Pino to Istanbul to discuss a new contract for the Argentinian star. Although the two met, no agreement was reached. Pino, speaking to Tivibu Spor commentator Ferhat Kızıltaş, said, "We had a meeting with Chairman Dursun Özbek. There are some obstacles to extending the contract. The negotiations are continuing."
