Nyck De Vries secured his first Formula E victory in four years at the Monaco E-Prix, as Dan Ticktum was denied a podium spot after being penalized for a late-race clash with Antonio Felix da Costa.
The front-row starter De Vries couldn't overtake polesitter Ticktum at the start, but the Mahindra driver waited for an opportunity in the tight Monte Carlo streets. Ticktum, who held the lead after a strong start, was penalized for a collision with da Costa in the closing laps, dropping him from third place.
This win marks a significant comeback for De Vries, who hadn't secured a victory since the 2019-2020 season. The Monaco E-Prix, known for its challenging street circuit, provided the perfect stage for De Vries to break his winless streak.
