Bulgarian singer Dara has achieved what no Bulgarian artist has before, winning the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in the country's history. Since lifting the trophy at the 70th edition of Eurovision in Vienna, Dara has been swarmed with interviews and media attention. When asked if she had called anyone in the aftermath, she looked around with a slightly bewildered expression, as if to say, "How could I find time to call anyone in this chaos?"

However, she did manage to mention her husband, who was present in the audience. "My closest people are here, and my husband is somewhere in the audience," she said, adding that he had been confident she would triumph. And indeed, she did.

During the official press conference for the winner, Dara stood up and pointed to her husband in the audience, beaming. She expressed her gratitude to her husband for encouraging her to participate in Eurovision. "I had doubts and fears about myself, but he supported me and pushed me to sign up. Thanks to him and my loved ones, I am on this journey. I am grateful for this opportunity and for being in the right place with an open heart," she said.

This victory marks a historic moment for Bulgaria, and Dara is the first to carry this honor for her country.
