Following the spectacular final of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Europe is buzzing with one name: Darina Nikolajeva Jotova, better known as Dara, the Bulgarian representative who claimed victory. Her energetic performance of "Bangaranga" captivated both the audience and the jury, securing her more than 500 points.

This young star was born in Varna in 1998 and first drew significant attention at the age of 17 when she won third place in the Bulgarian "X Factor" in 2015. After the competition, her career took off rapidly with a record deal with Virginia Records and the release of her debut single "K'vo ne chu," which dominated the Bulgarian charts for weeks.

Despite having only two studio albums ("Rodena takava" and "Adhdara"), Dara has amassed an impressive 80 million views. She is a prominent figure in the Balkan music scene, with numerous hits topping the charts. Since 2021, Dara has been a vocal coach on the show "Glas Bugarske," where she has led contestants to victory twice in four seasons. She has also appeared in the show "Tvoje lice zvuči poznato."
