Damir Husejdic, originally from Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has built a successful career in Munich, Germany, becoming known as the "Cevap King." His story demonstrates the value of hard work and discipline in achieving success. Husejdic started his career in the private sector at a young age, gaining experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina before expanding to Sweden and Slovenia.

After graduating from Tuzla's high school and university, Husejdic entered the private business sector at age 17. By 18, he already owned two private businesses and a café. These early experiences laid the foundation for his future success. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he further developed his skills in Sweden, working in the retail sector. Upon his return to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2002, he joined the Slovenian company Mercator, where he worked in managerial positions and honed his skills in business management.

A Turning Point in 2013

In 2013, Husejdic and his family relocated to Germany, where he opened a construction company and a pharmaceutical distribution firm. That same year, he and his brother opened a restaurant in Munich, which they developed into one of the most successful restaurants in Europe. Husejdic also started his own meat processing business, focusing on cevapi. After nearly a year of perfecting the recipe, his cevapi gained widespread recognition and his company, Cevapcici Company GmbH, became one of the leading cevapi producers in Europe.

"My firm now supplies over 250 hospitality venues in Germany and Austria, as well as over 3,000 retail outlets and supermarkets across Germany," said Husejdic. His success is a testament to the hard work and dedication that have defined his journey from Tuzla to Munich.
