Obrenovac became the epicenter of the boxing world in Serbia and the region on the night of the final event of the 63rd "Beogradski Pobednik" tournament. One of the most anticipated matches was the long-awaited rematch between Serbian boxing stars Jovan Nikolić and Almir Memić. Nikolić emerged victorious after three rounds, winning by unanimous decision.

Nikolić had special support from his clubmate, Serbian kickboxing star Miloš Cvjetićanin, who also expressed his excitement about the match. “Incredible. What a fight and what a boxer! I literally couldn't stop jumping. I'm still in shock, I've lost my voice. What a man, what a boxer, what class and what a man. Truly incredible. We are thrilled. Incredible,” Cvjetićanin said.

Cvjetićanin highlighted the warrior spirit of Nikolić and his club. “That is our style. That is 'Warrior', the name of our club. We are fighters. We go all the way. No matter who it is, no matter what the result of the match is, whether we win or lose, we always go all the way. So, you had the chance to see it. Incredible what a boxer. I'm still under the impression, I don't know what to say,” he added.

Cvjetićanin also addressed his upcoming challenge for the Glory heavyweight title against Moriy Krom. “This cycle that began in 2024 will finally come to an end. But when I say end, it means we just keep going, right? And when we win the belt, we return to the gym on Monday and continue. So, as they say, that's when it really starts. I'm happy that this is a historic event for world kickboxing, for our country, for our people, and of course, for me. I'm very excited and very grateful. So, everything we do will have the chance to be seen in the ring, just like every time. I see this as a stepping stone for every possible future match. So, we're expecting the best. The victory is ours, but whether we win or lose, it will be remembered until the end of our lives,” he said.

Cvjetićanin sees the upcoming fight as another step towards his goals. “Yes, I've been in this sport for about 15 years. There have been various experiences. There have been many injuries, pauses, growing pains, falls, and rises, everything, as in any career. So, now we have this, let's say, crown, which for me, again, represents just another step towards the next challenge. We'll see,” he concluded.

He ended with a powerful message: “Believe in yourself. See you there,” Cvjetićanin said.
